Upward Mobility is a limited liability company with charitable status. Our objective is to work with disadvantaged and vulnerable people in a positive and creative way. We are a co-operative organisation. We want to work with existing community groups and organisations in an effort to build social relationships throughout the community. Our practices are non-competitive and inclusive.

We believe that the forging of social alliances will not only create the conditions which will allow for the advancement of disadvantaged community groups but will provide the mechanism for community building in itself.

How will we create these alliances?

By developing constructive projects which will bring disadvantaged group into direct contact with other groups. This will be carried out in a capacity that will provide various groups with the opportunity to play a more proactive role in the community. It is our hope that our projects will provide individuals with access to alternative forms of education and activity and, in some cases, training and work experience.

In providing a safe and supportive environment for creativity and expression our efforts will award individuals with a sense of community, a context in which they are able to express themselves openly, an environment which will allow for new friendships and new exciting and meaningful experiences. Underlining our commitment to these various communities is our commitment to playing our part in promoting a healthier, safer and greener environment.
